Cloud 9 Technologies recognises that it has a responsibility under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 to take a robust approach to slavery and human trafficking and is committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in its corporate activities, and to ensuring that its supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.
Cloud 9 Technologies provides cloud-hosted software to local government organisations. We operate across the UK and our supply chains are predominately based within this country. This statement applies to employees at all levels including directors as well as contractors.
Cloud 9 Technologies operates the following policies that describe its approach to the identification of modern slavery risks and steps to be taken to prevent slavery and human trafficking in its operations. Our policies are clearly defined and communicated to all employees and contractors.
We have a zero-tolerance approach to any victimisation, bullying or harassment either in the workplace or any work-related setting.
Cloud 9 Technologies encourages all its workers, customers and other business partners to report any concerns related to the direct activities, or the supply chains of Cloud 9 Technologies. This includes any circumstances that may give rise to an enhanced risk of slavery or human trafficking. Our whistleblowing procedure is designed to make it easy for workers to make disclosures, without fear of retaliation.
Cloud 9 Technologies uses only specified, reputable employment agencies to source labour and always verifies the practices of any new agency it is using before accepting workers from that agency.
All our employees are treated fairly and equally and are paid at least the national minimum wage. Our employees will not be forced to work more than the number of hours permitted in law, and normal working hours will not exceed 48 hours per week average unless the employee expressly agrees.
